Evidence (Scott Smallwood + Stephan Moore) & Benton-C Bainbridge
Stephan Moore and I had a residency at ETC in October '05 to work on our hybrid digital/analog video synthesis instrument, "Vidymis." One day we were low on clean clothes so we took a trip to an Owego laundromat and brought recording gear along.
We edited the video and audio and then did two live jams to tape, patching the picture and sound into the Sandin/Sippel Image Processor. These two recordings are both the source and score for a live audiovisual peformance we do with Scott Smallwood as part of "Landscaping," a collaborative, modular, evening-length work of processed and re-performed locations. This is how we did "Coin-Op" at Roulette's 2006 Mixology Festival.
